The thing I love about BBAW is finding new blogs. :)
hauntingorchid (at) aol (dot) com
So far, my favorite thing about BBAW was being shortlisted for best YA blog. That was awesome. I've also enjoyed finding new blogs to read.
greenbeanteenqueen at gmail dot com
So far, I have participated in BBAW by voting in the awards, posting an interview with a fellow (and new to me!) blogger, and visiting new blogs. It's only Tuesday, so I'm expecting it to be a fun rest of the week!
Ok, this isn't related to the contest, but I wanted to say I LOVE your top pick of each month! We have very similar tastes in books. Evermore, Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Graceling and I'd Tell You I love You are all on my favorites list :)
+1 One thing I really liked was the interview swap - I discovered new blogs plus learned lots more about some blogs I already love.
+1 I'm participating in the rest of posts this week like the reading meme and I also participated in the interview swap.

Wow! How'd you get all that stuff. Also you're going to have to tell me how you managed to have the appearance of tabs using blogger.
The best thing about BBAW is definitely connecting with other bloggers. I started my blog without ever having read a book blog in my life.
I've done the interview swaps. I've posted (or will be posting) all the memes. I've done all the scavenger hunts so far.
Let's see. How to make BBAW better for next year? I NEED TO TAKE THE WEEK OFF WORK SO I CAN READ AND COMMENT ETC. I haven't been able to visit all the other blogs, but hopefully I'll catch up by linking through the blogrolls on the blogs I have started following.

Ooh, excellent selection :)
+1 sounds overused, but I liked finding out about new blogs (especially blogs dedicated to different genres/topics, rather than "general" review blogs)

Wow, what a great giveaway. dasuzuki at yahoo dot com
+1 I loved the Mondays post of listing blogs everyone enjoys. I've already added so many blogs to my reader.
+1 For the awards it would be nice for the judging FAQ and the other FAQs to be posted before judging.
I nominated my favorite blogs, voted, did a BBAW giveaway, did the Monday posting honoring blogs not short listed and did an interview swap. I also have planned posts for the rest of the week's BBAW topic.
+1 I tweeted (debworldofbooks)
+1 I blogged here: http://debbiesworldofbooks.com/other-giveaways/
Orchid - that's what i like about BBAW too!
GreenBeanTeenQueen - I've found that its a lot easier to answer that end of year question of 'best book you've read' if I start with a monthly break down. Then I only have to choose from 12 instead of my final total! lol
Erica - thanks for entering
Cara - I used this site to get the menu tabs. It was really easy and I love them! I kept it simple but that site also shows how to add picture tabs too.
I'm really enjoying reading all the interviews. I've learned new things about bloggers I've been folling and I've met new-to-me bloggers.

The best part about BBAW is discovering heaps of new great book blogs.
Thanks for this giveway!
shereadsandreads(at)gmail(dot)com
So far, I've nominated my favourite blogs, voted, done the daily writing posts (I'm hoping to do all of them), interviewed a new-to-me blogger, participated in a couple of the scavenger hunts, posted two BBAW giveaways and visited a bunch of new blogs...
One way to make BBAW 2010 better would be to have clearer guidelines for the nomination process and more transparency with respect to how the panels work. I also think it would be a good idea to limit the number of awards a single blog can be shortlisted for in both types of categories. If the awards are really just for fun, then the fun should be spread around a bit more. (But don't get me wrong, I love BBAW!)
Oh and thanks for the link for how to create tabs! I'm going to try that.
I kept going to the BBAW site to find out what was going on and what I needed to do to be included. I don't think I'm especially dumb, but I couldn't figure out anything. I signed up to join BBAW this year, but I wasn't included in the interviews. I only know what's happening each day because of the smart bloggers that could figure things out.
Okay, I'll stop with the snide-ness because I'm basically a nice person. My suggestion: provide better instructions for dummies like me.
I did the Monday activity - listed some of my favorite blogs.

+1 The thing i like most about this years BBAW is all the cool blogs and fun memes!
+1 Something that can make BBAW better is more author participation!
+1 every activity for each day-interview swap, reading meme, blogs that weren't on the short list. I voted and nominated and also participated in some giveaways!

+1 I loved being able to engage in the interview portion. It was fun to think up questions, as well as answer them.
+1 I would love a day for us to guest post on each other's blogs.

As for how to make next year better? I don't even know. I mean, from last year to this year it's already changed a ton and I love it. I think maybe nomination process could be longer...it's hard to find the posts when you are nominated to send in in such a fast time. That's all I can really think of though.
lauren51990 AT aol DOT com
I love finding new blogs to subscribe to!
throuthehaze at gmail dot com
One thing that could be better is for some reason it has felt a little unorganized as far info goes. Maybe next year the info could just be better organized?

I participated by voting for my fave blogs!
throuthehaze at gmail dot com
+1 I have really enjoyed the daily entries (memes, interviews etc.).
+1 A suggestion for next year would be to let everyone know the judging criteria prior to submitting posts.
+1 I've done the daily memes, posted a photo of my tbr, nominated, voted, visited blogs, posted giveaways and visited giveaways. :)

+1 entry for saying one thing that you've liked about this years BBAW:
This was my first BBAW, so I have to say I really loved the feeling of community--how bloggers put effort into telling other bloggers what they like about each other's blog and whatnot. It was all warm and fuzzy feeling.
+1 entry for making a suggestion to make BBAW 2010 even better:
Perhaps grander announcements of the final winners? Was sort of anticlimatic!
+1 entry for listing each of the BBAW activies that you participated in:
I participated only in the interview swap, but I did post several times telling people to check out BBAW. :)
+1 entry if you tweet: http://twitter.com/bookloveaffair/status/4023279299
What a great giveaway. I would like to enter.
+1 One think I liked about this years BBAW are the blogger interviews. It really introduced me to a lot of new blogs.
jen4777[at]hotmail.com
Awesome giveaway!
+1 This is the first time I've participated in BBAW and so far I'm lovin' it. I especially like discovering new book blogs and bloggers!
+1 Um, they could make the voting process longer. I didn't get to vote cause by the time I remembered it, the voting's already closed. :(
+1 So far, I've only participated in the BBAW Interview Swap

I liked meeting a new person by doing the interview with a blog I would probably never even seen.
What a great giveaway...thanks!
kdhaney (AT) gmail ((DOT)) com
One of the best things about this year's BBAW, was getting shortlisted. Plus getting to discover new book bloggers.
annasbookblog @ gmail.com
+1 Can I be honest and materialistic and say my favourite thing about BBAW is all the giveaways? (Not that I've won anything or am eligible for most of the giveaways since I'm international. But still.) AND can I then say that through the giveaways and shortlisted blogs for awards, I've found lots of new blogs to read, so I have really enjoyed that as well. :)
+1 BBAW 2010: I really wanted to use the BBAW blog prompts but most of them seemed a bit dull to me. Some of the interview questions were good but others weren't as good, but I guess that's OK as you got to pick and choose which questions to answer. But maybe a slightly wider variety of blog prompts?
I do really like the interview swaps and think BBAW should keep those going if possible. :)
+1 Activities... well, I tweeted about BBAW a bit! And participated in the giveaways and voted for blogs... I guess that's it, really. I do want to be more involved next year, though. This was the first year I'd heard of it so I was taking a bit more of an "observe and learn" stance.
Email: kiwibooklover at gmail dot com
Thanks so much for the giveaway! :)
+1 The thing I love most about BBAW is discovering all the new book bloggers out there
+1 BBAW 2010 : I think more pre-publicity about BBWA should be done to get everyone all excited about the event because I almost missed it.
+1 I left a note for all the new bloggers that I found, telling them I found them during BBAW.
lesly7ch(at)yahoo(dot)com

Oh wow, please count me in, some of those books look scrumptious!
+1 I've liked discovering blogs that are well known, but in different circles - most blogs I know are YA, so it's interesting to discover book blogs for crime etc.
+1 To make it better... maybe more interaction between bloggers for the rest of the week - I can only read so many answers to todays meme without getting bored. Maybe organise a huge 1 word story game between blogs or something.
+1 I've participated in the blogger swap interview and todays reading meme.
+1 I've posted about this in my sidebar
Thanks!
bookshelfbabble(at)yahoo(dot)co(dot)uk
1) Discovering so many new blogs, my google reader is exploding :)
2) Something more on the lines of Interview swap, that was fun and we could get to know more bloggers that way.
3) I'm blogging about the contest on the sidebar.
Thank you so much for the contest.
elizascott2005 at yahoo dot co dot in
oops, I forgot, I participated in blogger interviews and reading meme.
+1 This is my first BBAW and I love how many blogs I am discovering and bloggers I'm "meeting"! For me, this is the best part of BBAW!
+1 My only suggestion would be to possibly make the interview portion of BBAW 2 days because it takes time to visit all the blogs and read the interviews. If you look at the list of participants, it's quite long! I have really enjoyed the interviews I've read and I plan to read many more.
+1 I participated in Mondays' segment listing some of the blogs I like and I am hosting a BBAW giveawy and I will be participating intodays reading mem. Somehow I missed the interview segment registration. Brain freeze moment I s'pose! lol

The best thing has been finding so many new blogs -- this is my first year to experience BBAW and it's been so much fun to see how much is out there that I haven't seen!
I don't have any suggestions for next year since this is my first year and I'm having a lot of fun with it just the way it is :-)
I have read many blog posts, visited new blogs and have entered giveaways -- and I voted.

+1 I really love love love the contests. There are so many of them going on with such amazing books! And a lot of bloggers make them international! I'm so happy!

+1 I nominated blogs and voted.

+1 entry for making a suggestion to make BBAW 2010 even better:

+1 entry for listing each of the BBAW activies that you participated in:

+1 What I liked about this year's BBAW: The interview swap! I thought it was such a fun and creative idea, and I had an awesome time interviewing two of my fellow bloggers. The questions and dialogue that sprang up were fantastic. Wish we could do it more often, though it would be super hard to organize!
+1 Activities I participated in: Monday's recognition of other blogs I read regularly that weren't short-listed; Tuesday's interview swap; and I'm hosting my own giveaway for The Weight Of Silence! :)

What an awesome contest!
+1 I love how mamy new blogs I discovered and how many new connections I've made. Book bloggers are awesome people!
+1 I think it'd be awesome if one of the blogging topics next year asked us to highlight all the great new blog we've come across just because of BBAW. I know we can do that on our own, but it'd be great if it were a big group thing.
+1 I did each of the daily blogging topics: I posted about some non-shortlisters I love, did an interview swap, filled out the reading meme, spotlighted a couple of books I read solely because of one amazing blogger and posted my blogging goals for the next year.
+1 I just tweeted the contest.

+1 I really enjoyed Monday's bloggy lovefest - giving love, getting love, and finding all sorts of loved blogs to explode my Google Reader with was quite a great time!
